Disney Emoji Blitz

I absolutely enjoy this game immensely. It's the only game that I've deleted and come back to about three or four times over the past two years! Disney emoji blitz is a great game for children about the age of seven or up, and is simple in it's game play. I find that it's a great game to play when there's some time to kill or if you're waiting on line for something.
That being said, being something that I play on my down time doesn't mean it's a bad game. It just means that it's not a game that you have to devote all your attention to, which I find to be an amazing feature. I am usually busy with something and I don't have a lot of time to devote my attention to an in depth game, so Disney Emoji Blitz is a perfect substitute.
What is this game about?
There is no real objective to this game. It's not like Mickey is leading you on a quest to save Minnie. The real objective of the game is to collect all the emojis you can! But be warned that they regularly update the emoji list so there a bunch to choose.
As for the actual game play, it's very simple. Much like "Bejweled" and "Candy Crush" you have to swipe and make matches the emojis in order to clear them. Three is the minimum amount of emojis you have to match to clear them off the board, but more is preferred and you get special bonuses for it.
That being said, being something that I play on my down time doesn't mean it's a bad game. What is this game about?

After swiping and matching four of a kind together, you get a storm cloud emoji. This clears out one whole row or column (depending on which way you swipe).
After matching four or more in an "L" shape, you get a little sun emoji. This clears one row and one column at the same time (like a storm cloud) but in a '+' shape.
After swiping 5 or more emojis together (if you get more than five, that's amazing!) you get a rainbow star emoji. When you swipe it with any emoji, it clears out all of those same emojis on the board.
There are also combos you can do with the special emojis, but I'll let you download it and see for yourself. ;)
One more thing that Disney Emoji Blitz does differently is that after you clear a certain amount of emojis from the board, you enter 'Blitz Mode'! This give you more points for your matches, and makes the matches easier to obtain. It also adds five more seconds onto your game play.
What makes this game better than candy crush is for two reasons; one being that I am a huge fan of Disney. I love most Disney movies, and I've been to Disney once or twice in my life. I love playing as my favorite characters, and each character has their own special power. My personal favorite is Cinderella and Cheshire Cat. Cheshire is my highest level emoji, and Belle because she produces sunshine emojis which are my favorite after the star emoji.
As you unlock your silver and gold boxes to gain more emojis, you may get the same emoji more than once, which is great! The more times you get the emoji, the more powerful it's power becomes. Personally I've never gotten more than a level three emoji, but I think the highest is level five. (If I am wrong please correct me).
There's no shortage of things to do in this game and that's why I love it so much. It's ever changing with the times, and you always have something to work towards. You can even connect it to your Facebook account that way you can see who plays and who's high score you have to beat! Hahaha!
One last thing this game does differently is that they have little collectibles challenge as I call it. While playing there are little random items that pop on the screen instead of emojis. If you get that piece to the bottom within the time frame, you get it and then after you get all of them on the board, you get a special treat in game. After collecting these, and after gaining a new emoji character, you can use these are emojis instead of your iOS or Android emojis! How neat is that??
There's has to be one thing you don't like?
In the game, there are power ups you can use in the game to boost your total score, and help you with collecting items, but when you choose one powerup, it automatically checks it off for you before you start a new game. Now these powerups aren't cheap. They cost in game coins, and if you forget to un-check it, you're losing your precious coins you earned. They fixed it for a while, but it seems to be back.
Also, if you start a game and leave before you finish the round, you loose the heart you needed to play that round; which means if I had five hearts to start with, went into a game and can out five seconds after playing, I'm left with four hearts now. I wish you got that heart back but it doesn't take too long for the hearts to reload.
Why play this game over another?
I would play this game over Candy Crush or Bejewled any day. I think that this game offers more when it comes to the actual game play. Disney Emoji Blitz has challenges you can do throughout the week and they also give you an added bonus of collecting the items for even more prizes.
One thing I will say about this game is, since I'm colorblind, it's easier to see the matches on the board because they board is full of emoji heads. I'm able to piece together where a match is by looking at the characters, not so much the colors. The music is very fun and light-hearted, and the sound effect make the game more enjoyable! Since it is a Disney game, they have thought of almost everything!
And if you don't believe that this game is addicting, I used to work at a medical office and when I found this game while I was an employee there, and I got almost everyone hooked on this game! They all loved it and we all competed against each other! It was so much fun, and it was nice to have some friends to share this great game with! :D
